What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture involves the insertion of super-fine, sterile, single-use needles into specific areas around the body known as acupuncture points. Stimulation of these points opens up and unblocks channels that connect to different organs in the body.

If you imagine your body as a highway, and each organ is a destination. Acupuncture opens up traffic jams to ensure nutrients are delivered to each location.

In 2003, the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the National Institute of Health (NIH) released an official report on acupuncture's effectiveness in controlled studies. Click here to see the list of conditions from the report.

* Please avoid arriving at an acupuncture session with an empty stomach, this could lead to needle fainting due to low blood sugar or low energy level.

* Please ensure you disclose all significant medical histories (especially if you are pregnant) to avoid unsuitable points for your condition.
